Below is a link to the results of our beginning of year parent survey. We will be working with our advisory board to create goals this year as a result of your survey suggestions. The Quality Improvement Plan is available at the Parent Resource Center next to the front office, and it can be emailed to you as well. Please email kelly@stlukeshr.com for a digital copy of the QIP. We appreciate those of you who took the time to respond to the survey.

Morning with Moms!

Thank you to our our moms and guardians who attended Morning with Moms, our advisory board for helping organize the event, and especially the Szopa Family, who own Dutch Bros of Littleton and who provided all the coffee and tea, for making this event such a special time!

Be sure to visit Dutch Bros in Littleton, Sheridan, Lakewood, or Conifer to support one of our Little School families!

Music Team News!

What a great first month the Little Schoolers have had in music! We’re going to FALL in love with music in October by singing and dancing to some of our favorite songs like "Scarecrow, Scarecrow" and classic poems such as "Mother Nature Did you Sneeze?" The Chapel theme for this month is all about working together and our songs will be “Roll Your Hands” and “A Happy Helper”. We will have a fun day exploring classical music and dancing in bubbles outside! Our month will end with Spooktacular Halloween songs and poems. Eeeek! Some Halloween songs to listen for include "Sing a song for Halloween" to the tune of "Joshua fought the battle of Jericho", “Old Mrs. Witch” and one of the childrens’ favorite, "The Bat Song!"

Blessings to you all,

Ms. Laura, Ms. Sheri and Ms. Jana

Pumpkin Patch!

The pumpkin patch is here. As a reminder, all sales from the pumpkin patch benefit the Teen Youth Group at the church. Please do not allow your children to pick up pumpkins or sit on pumpkins to help prevent damage and loss of pumpkins. The pumpkin patch is open from 10am-6pm seven days a week for you to purchase pumpkins. Each class will be visiting the pumpkin patch throughout the month and picking a mini pumpkin to take home.

Butterbraid fundraiser coming up!

We will be doing a butterbraid fundraiser again this year. It will begin in October. Each child will be given a link to set up an online ordering page. From there, your friends, families, and co-workers can order Butterbraids, cookie dough, or coffee just in time for Thanksgiving. All items will be delivered to Little School on the 16th and 17th of November so families can take their items and deliver them. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help Little School with teacher benefits and curriculum upgrades. We thank you for your help and time.

Parent Resources

Have you checked out the Slumberkins (our social emotional curriculum) Youtube channel? It has tons of free read alouds, sensory play ideas and videos, math and counting activities, yoga for kids, interactive videos for activities like cooking, and much more! We highly recommend taking a look! The yoga is our favorite.
