Mission Statement
More than competency in the basic skills of reading, writing, and math, it is this school’s mission to nurture in each child:
The habit of creative independent thinking, a positive self-image, an attitude of social cooperation and moral responsibility, pride in self, community, state, and country,
and
The ability to be a producer, not just a consumer,
of Knowledge.
“In this school, we reach for the stars.”

COVID Reporting over Thanksgiving Break
As the Holiday season approaches, there will likely be many opportunities for students to gather outside of school with friends and loved ones. During this time, please express to your child the importance of taking precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing masks, frequently washing hands, and social distancing. We all must work together as partners to balance the need for social interaction and celebration with keeping our schools open to in-person learning. Our partnership is critical in order to keep students and staff safe and in school throughout the holiday season. Should your child test positive for COVID-19 over the Thanksgiving Break, we ask that you email your child’s campus at DDodd@conroeisd.net so we can provide the appropriate support and make the required notifications. Thank you.
Mask Expectations
Please send your student with a clean mask each day. Thank you!
Class Parties
- Due to COVID, we are unable to allow birthday treats to be sent in for class parties at this time.
- Classroom teachers will be reaching out to families before class events or celebrations to share details about anything that is needed. This may require something to be sent in ahead of time (at least 72 hrs) that is individually wrapped. It will also be store bought. No homemade goods.
- We will not be allowing visitors at this time for any event.

The Kajeet hot spots that were checked out at the beginning of the year will no longer work after this month. However, we have new ones available! If you missed the swap out date that was sent previously, please call our front office to make the exchange with a new hot spot. The old ones will be inactive very soon!
