In the Classroom

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

For the 2018 - 19 school year, students enrolled in HOSA (formerly known as Health Occupation Students of America) at both Clemens and Steele choose childhood cancer as its cause for raising funds and awareness.

During the month of September, students and faculty participated in a spirit week with themes ranging from PJ Day to Super Hero to Throwback. At the end of it all, faculty from Clemens took on their Steele counterparts in a "dry tri" at Orange Theory Fitness in Cibolo. Teams of three took part in a 2,000 meter indoor row, 300 reps of body weights, and a 5k run on a treadmill.

Meet in the Middle

STUCO invited Meet in the Middle to join them in the Friendship Walk for the football game against Smithson Valley. Disabled and non-disabled students exchanged a small gift with representatives from Smithson Valley high school mid-field.
