Family life/Early life
August 15, 1912 Julia Child was born. In college she was going for a history major, and ended up getting a job being a typist for C.I.A. She got married to Paul Child September 1, 1946. In 1949 Julia started her first cooking class, She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 1951.

The success of Julia Child
Julia wrote over 20 cookbooks, her most popular being "Mastering the art of French cooking." She won 25 awards for cooking but also for being an amazing TV host. She won an Emmy in 1966 for "The French Chef." But was nominated two other times. Julia was the first TV cooking show host.
