Lowell Winter Concert: Thursday, December 18th

This year's winter concert, "Holiday Lights," will take place on Thursday, December 18th at Wheaton North High School. Please see the letter linked here for details (click here); a hard copy of this letter and a map were also distributed.

We look forward to a wonderful evening celebrating the children's talent and traditions!

Winter break begins after school on Friday, December 19 & and school resumes on Monday, January 5th!

The Green Corner: Recycle Your Holiday Lights

If you needed to replace your holiday lights this year (with LED ones, right?) or have some broken old strands hanging around, there are two easy ways to recycle used holiday lights in Wheaton this year. You can drop them in a collection box just inside the Wheaton Public Works Storage Yard (820 W. Liberty Drive) weekdays between 8am and 4 pm OR you can deposit them in a collection box at the Wheaton Park District Community Center (1777 S. Blanchard). Both locations accept incandescent or LED strands, as well as extension cords, and the Park District will even use its scrap material proceeds to benefit their Leisureship Fund, which provides financial assistance to qualified residents for park district programs.

View examples of Lowell Connections from within & beyond our school community! Lowell students & teachers shared this at the December Board of Education meeting.
