Lumberton Township School District
Superintendent's update
From the desk of Dr. Colleen Murray...
We are thrilled to be coming back to school full swing. We have spent the summer weeks planning and learning. Our teachers and staff will have several days of carefully orchestrated learning events that will make us stronger as a district. Our building and grounds have seen several impressive upgrades that will make us safer and add to our joyful learning.
In case you missed them, here are some recent communications:
We hope you enjoy all of the hope and crisp air that the transition to fall brings, with its new experiences, new friendships, and young minds ripe for learning.

CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION NIGHT, AUGUST 18TH
Mayreni Fermin-Cannon coordinated our first annual Curriculum Night and it was a huge success as evidenced by ---
- more than a hundred parents came to visit
- our early day care roster was full
- feedback both verbally and in follow up emails was overwhelmingly positive
During this event, we shared about our curricular program, including our summer updates to strengthen our Gifted and Talented program, as well as updates from the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Complimentary child care was held in the Bobby's Run School library, made available through our Early Day Care program, coordinated by Diane Solan and Jennifer Grimm.
