Pumpkin Book Reports - Due Tomorrow
It’s October and that means it is time for pumpkins! We are going to combine pumpkins and reading to have some fun!
This month we are asking first graders to complete a book report!
1. Select a book and read it together.
2. Pick one character from the book and create that character on a small size pumpkin. (A small enough pumpkin that the student can carry it.) You can paint it, glue things to it – BE CREATIVE but please DO NOT carve it.
3. Complete the written book report. (download below)
4. Bring the book, pumpkin and report to school TOMORROW.
All first grade pumpkins will also be entered into the school-wide library contest. Pumpkins will be returned home on Wednesday, October 30th. I am so excited to see your child’s creativity!
