Elm Street News
October 2021
From the Desk of Mrs. Walley
Student report cards will be sent home on Thursday, October 21st. One of the many keys to success is completing all assignments in a timely manner. Students in grades 3 through 6 use Google Classroom as a tool for completing assignments. Parents and caregivers should talk to their child about the work being assigned and help make sure it is being turned in on time. Communication between home and school is key to the success of your child at Elm Street. If you ever have a question or need to talk to a teacher about your child's assignments, please do not hesitate to reach out to the teacher. Parent Conference Day is Monday, November 1st. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule conferences for students who are struggling in the classroom. Please make it a priority to attend this conference by phone, computer, or even in-person. Take care and have a safe and happy Fall Break. We look forward to seeing our students back at school on Monday, October 18th.
