From the Desks of O'Shaughnessy & Meneses

Good afternoon! We hope everyone is looking forward to this continuing heat wave!

Summer school registration is fast-approaching! Families will be able to select courses starting on Monday, April 12. This will again be done through Infinite Campus. It will be important that you verify that you have access to the Parent Portal over the next few weeks before registration begins.

Due to social distancing considerations, this year we will have one location available for parents and students to obtain assistance with online registration on Monday, April 12. This will take place at the HS LMC from 4pm-6pm and will be by appointment. Specific details on this will be coming as we get closer to that date.

We are in the process of finalizing course offerings and staffing. We expect the Summer School course catalog to be published by the end of March

Class Spotlight: Literacy and Math Skills

Get ready for next year in literacy and math skills! Again this year, we will be offering Literacy SKills and Math Skills courses for each grade level for Grades K-5. You may have already received a recommendation from your child's teacher to enroll in one of these important skill building classes! Our Literacy and Math skills classes are a fun and effective way to build important academic skills for next year!

Summer School Daily Schedule

Our schedule this year will be modified slightly. We will continue to have 4 periods of classes that run for fifty-five minutes each. High School credit recovery courses will again be broken into 2 periods of three hours each.

The major change is with our lunch period. With social distancing considerations in mind, we will have 3 lunch periods this year. These lunch periods will be tied to 4th period classes. Lunch time will be assigned by teacher and students will sit in the cafeteria by class. Determination of which lunch a particular teacher/student has will be determined after the master schedule is built. This way, we will be able to balance numbers of students in the cafeteria. Unfortunately, due to health protocols we will be unable to have family and friends join us during lunch as we have done in the past.

The schedule is posted below:
