FSA/EOC Testing Starts May 1st

FSA & EOC state testing is just around the corner! Check out the CCMHS Assessment Calendar on our school website (under Assessments & Calendar) to see when your student participates in testing. Due to timing and facility constraints, it is extremely important to have your student at school and on time for each day they are testing!

Help your student out by ensuring your student

  • Prepares at home for their tested subjects
  • Gets plenty of rest in the days before they test
  • Eats a solid breakfast each day they are testing (FREE breakfast to students on each day they are testing)

If your student is absent on a day they are testing, then they will participate in a make-up session as space, proctors & technology to assess on become available after previously scheduled testing.

Free Breakfast for FSA/EOC Testers on Day of Exam

All students taking the FSA or EOC exams will receive a free breakfast on each day of their FSA/EOC exam. Students taking exams by grade (ELA, Writing, Civics, 6th Math) will automatically receive the free meal. Students taking exams not by grade (Alg 1, Geo, 7th Math, 8th Math, Bio, USH) will receive vouchers to use on the first day of the exam. Vouchers for the second day will be distributed by proctors during testing.

The Growler Awards

Calling all Coyotes! Our 2nd Annual Growlers Award Ceremony will be taking place at the Wesley Chapel Performing Arts Center this upcoming Monday, May 13th at 6:30pm. Appetizers will be served in the Wesley Chapel Gym at 6:00pm before the event. Athletes don’t want to miss this opportunity to be celebrated! Please remember to dress professionally if attending this event.

We will also recognize students earning Straight A Honor Roll and A/B Honor Roll for Quarter 3. Please note that students enrolled in online classes and/or DE classes may not be eligible for Honor Roll recognition per the Pasco County Schools’ policy: “Dual Enrollment and FLVS courses do not earn quarter grades and are therefore not available for inclusion in the determination of honor roll status for quarter grading periods.”

There will be a letter coming home on Monday May 6th with 8th grade students regarding 8th grade activities for the rest of the school year. This letter includes important information regarding the 8th grade field trip, dance, and promotion ceremony.

Next Friday May 10th is the Universal Studios Gradventure Field Trip for 8th grade students. The tickets for this event have already been sold and are sold out. Students must attend school the day of the field trip. We will be leaving at 2:45pm and arriving back to CCMHS at 1:45am. Attention 6th Grade Parents!!

6th grade parents: Just a reminder that Tdap shot is required for 7th grade students.

Please take your child to your physician or local Health Department for the necessary immunizations as soon as possible. Please return the required certificate of immunization to the school so we can document it in our records.

Please note that students who have not provided documentation of this required immunization, will not receive their class schedule during registration in August. If the required documents are not received by the first day of school, your child will be excluded from school until proof of the vaccine is provided.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Failure to respond by the above date may result in your child being unable to attend the first day of school next year.
