American Government

The Representative Democracy

The Jobs of American Government

Our government is based off both Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome government. We took the tripartites from the Romans. A tripartites is a government that is seperated in three parts. Our branches is called Legislative, Executive, and Judical. The Legislative branch write up laws so they writes our civil laws, the Executive branch inforces the law, and the Judical branch punish people who didn´t follow the rules.

Elected Officals

We also took this from the Romans. At the age of 18, we are allowed to vote on a president to take control.

Republic vs Representative

They are similar but have some small and major differences. We vote on a person to speak on the citizens behalf. While in a Republic, the people are able to vote on a leader and other topics.
