Harris Weekly Update
MAY 4 - May 8
Message from the Principal
Harris Families:
Well May has arrived! Who would have thought that the last month of school would be spent at home? Nonetheless, we are entering the last month of our enrichment online learning and I hope that it has been a successful experience for not only your students but also for you as well. We look forward to the opportunity of opening our doors once again as we all miss your children. However, we do need to wait for directions from the Governor as well as the Department of Education.
In the meantime, please continue to support and encourage your children to participate in their Google Classrooms so that they can keep their skills sharp as we move into the next school year. Later in May, we will be collecting music instruments as well as inviting you back to get whatever materials have been left in your child’s desk. In addition, I hope to also have Spring pictures as well as the yearbooks to distribute to all.
I sincerely hope everyone is healthy and eager to return to school once we can. As always, please reach out directly to myself or your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
-Bill Roth
“Whatever it Takes!”
Are You Moving?
We are in the process of planning for the 2020 – 2021 school year. Our office needs to know if your child will NOT be attending Harris Elementary next year. This information will help us project our staffing needs and prepare our records for a smooth transition for you and your child.
IF you are leaving Harris, please click HERE to complete the form no later than Friday, May 15.
