Who was Dylan Storm??
What was his mindset?
Dylan Storm is a 22 year old man, who was the shooter of this brutal event. There will never be a clear understanding to why he did what he did. All that is explained is that he felt that African Americans never held the value to life that whites did. He felt as if Negros are stupid and violent, but at the same time have the capacity to be very slick with what they do. He wanted an end to it.
Why does this deserve Recognition?
The Charleston shooting deserves recognition because Nine innocent people lost their lives that day because the color of their skin. Racism is a huge problem that needs to stop because it leads to things such as this that no one deserves. The people who died were A huge factor in their church community & no one deserved to lose them, nor did they deserve to lose their lives. This was such a selfish thing for Dylan to do, because he felt threatened by blacks, wand that is simply not a reason to go and kill. Now not only do the families of the people who were killed have to live without them everyday, but the actual people who are gone will never get to live to the full potential that they had.
