SUMMER OFFICE HOURS

The school office will be open for Admissions and tuition and scholarship assistance until August 18, 2022:


Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm


Regular office hours will resume on August 22, 2022:


Monday thru Friday 7:00am-3:00pm.

SUMMER READING (Required)

Cardinal Lacroix Academy Summer Reading


This summer all students are required to read the following Roald Dahl book in preparations for Cardinal Lacroix Academy’s first Literacy Immersion Night on Friday, September 30th from 6pm-7:30pm. Our PTO will be hosting an Ice Cream Social from 7:00pm - 7:30pm that night to celebrate the event.


1st Grade - 3rd Grade - Fantastic Mr. Fox

Fantastic Mr. Fox is the story of a cunning fox and his uncanny ability to outsmart his enemies.


4th Grade - 6th Grade - BFG

BFG is a story about an orphaned girl who befriends a giant and travels to Dream Country to collect dreams.


Mandatory Summer Reading-

  1. Sent home on the last day of school was a choice board to complete over the summer with the book chosen for their grade. We are requiring 3 projects to be completed during the summer. We are looking for quality work that will be displayed at our Literacy Immersion Night.

  2. Families will buy the book and must have it read and choice board activities completed upon return to school Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Students attending the Title One Summer Program in grades 1-5, will receive and start to read the book during the program.

  3. Once we return from school, a novel study will be completed per classroom and more activities will be completed in class.

  4. All these activities will lead us to Literacy Immersion Night on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

LAST CALL FOR YEARBOOKS!


We have extended the deadline to purchase a yearbook to July 1, 2022. If you have any pictures of the promotion ceremonies for grade Pre-K, Kindergarten, or six that you would like to share to be included in the yearbook, please email them to yearbook@clanh.org.

THANK YOU, PTO!

Thank you to all the parents who dropped off drinks and desserts for the teacher’s lunch on Monday. The teachers loved the special treat in these last busy days before the school year ended.


We would love more parental involvement for our 2022-2023 school year. We are planning more family events during the year to get our students and families together in a social setting. Stay tuned for when our first PTO meeting of the next school year is! Have a great summer!

FAMILY REFERRAL PROGRAM

Do you know someone who might be interested in providing a Catholic education for their children?

Families who refer another family who registers and attends will receive a $150 tuition credit.

UNIFORM DONATIONS

Used uniform items that are clean and in good condition can still be dropped off at the school office during our summer hours. Families will have access to shop from the closet beginning in August.

NO BUS TRANSPORTATION NEXT YEAR

Cardinal Lacroix Academy will be opting-out of Manchester school bus transportation for the 2022-23 school year.
