Message From The Principal
Good Afternoon Stoller Families,
I would like to extend a huge thank you to our outgoing PTO board members for their service and dedication to our school community. The support they have shown Stoller staff and students is immeasurable. Thank you for your time and energy in helping to create this amazing community.
I’m happy to welcome our new board members (listed below) and look forward to working very closely with them over the next few years. Stoller parents go above and beyond and their efforts do not go unnoticed. I understand that Stoller would not be the same environment without the hours of service volunteered by this amazing board and parents.
I would also like to welcome our incoming 6th grade families. I look forward to Fall when we will meet face to face (or mask to mask) and all students have access to learning in the building. We will include you in all of our email communications now as we move closer to the new school year. The Stoller Weekly is our school’s newsletter and contains valuable information regarding upcoming events, PTO information, calendar dates, and what’s happening at Stoller. Please watch for important back-to-school information this August and have a great summer.
Thank you and have a great weekend.

6th - 8th grade students who will be attending a BSD school in the fall should keep their device for the summer unless they prefer to turn it in on the last day of school. Please be prepared to bring it with you to school, charged and ready, in the fall.
Any family using a district issued hotspot will need to return the hotspot as soon as the school year ends.
Any students not returning to BSD in the fall need to turn in their Chromebook (with stylus and power cord) to their school as soon as school gets out unless they’re in summer school, in which case they’ll turn it in at the end of summer school.

Library Update
Bring Back the Books! A Campaign to Collect & Return Secondary Classroom Library Books
Many teachers and library staff made sure to send students home with books in March of 2020. Because of this and continued book disbursement through curbside pick up and the Book Bus, Beaverton school and classroom libraries are missing tens of thousands of books! In order to have as many books accessible to students as possible, we are asking for your help in returning books this May and June!
Classroom books can be identified by a white label on the front or back that includes the following information:
Beaverton School District
Your school’s name
Classroom Library Number
Fiction or Nonfiction
Library books have a “Stoller Middle School” or “Beaverton School District” barcode on the front cover.
Please help your student look for books! We appreciate your help and support in our efforts to Bring Back the Books! Books can be returned to the plastic bin outside the main entrance of school, or to any classroom teacher. Thank you!
Library Reminder:
SORA is open 24/7 to check out ebooks or audiobooks.
Stoller books can be reserved by placing a hold in Destiny and picking up from school. Click HERE for instructions.
The public library is open. All students have “Youth Access” cards for Washington County Libraries, which can be used to check out books electronically, or to check out up to six physical books. Go to WCCLS.ORG for details and library hours.

Stoller Volunteers
Welcome Stoller Volunteers!
Volunteering in the 2020-21 school year will be unlike previous years. Although we are unsure what remote volunteer needs will be, we invite you to create a volunteer profile or update your existing profile. This will ensure you are able to help Stoller staff and students through volunteer work as opportunities arise. A volunteer profile is required for all volunteering within BSD schools. Please follow the steps below to update or create your volunteer profile. Additional information is available at www.stollerpto.com/volunteer.
Existing BSD Volunteers (new to Stoller)
Please send an email to update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us and request to add Stoller Middle School to the organizations listed in your mVP account. Provide your full first and last name as it appears in your profile. If you will no longer be volunteering at an elementary school, you may also request to remove that school from your profile.
New BSD Volunteers
If you are a new volunteer to the Beaverton School District, you must create a volunteer account. This process includes a background check.
- Parent/Guardian: Complete the Parent/Guardian Volunteer Application
- Community Volunteer: Complete the Community Volunteer Application (This applies to Grandparents, Nannies, Neighbors, etc)
- Youth Volunteers: Complete the Youth Volunteer Application
Within the application, please include all of the BSD schools where you are a volunteer. You will have one profile for all your BSD volunteering.
- This step also initiates a background check. It will come up for renewal every 2 years.
- Once your background check is complete, you will receive an email from Stoller PTO stating your background check approval status, and your volunteer profile at myimpactpage.com will be active.
Thank you for giving your time and talents to Stoller this school year!
If you have any issues with your device or logging in, you will need to contact the Student Help Desk.
