Student Services – Counseling Office
21st Century Scholars: Students who belong to the 21st Century Scholars program met with our regional coordinator on Monday, November 23rd. Students spent time updating their online Scholar Track accounts. Scholar parents who have questions about the program may visit http://www.in.gov/21stcenturyscholars/ to learn more.
Juniors: Mrs. Pulley has met individually with several juniors to discuss their post-graduation plans. She will continue to meet with juniors as the year continues. Parents are welcome to contact her with any questions about the meetings.
Several juniors took ACCUPLACER Diagnostics on November 17th and 18th. This exam gauged the readiness of students to succeed in college-level courses. Administration will review the scores and then share them with parents at a later date. Please contact Mrs. Pulley with any questions.
End-of-Course Assessments (ECAs) will be administered in December for those who need to retake them. The Algebra 1 ECA will take place on December 8th. The English 10 ECA will be administered on December 9th. If your student did not pass one of these ECAs last spring, they are expected to take it in December. Contact Guidance with any questions.
Freshmen: Mrs. Pulley recently visited freshmen classrooms to help students start creating their four-year high school graduation plans. She will visit freshmen again next semester as a group and individually to help them finish the graduation plans. Students are welcome to see her before second semester with any questions regarding high school courses.
