Mrs. Cornell's Class
News for the week of November 5 - November 12
Dear Parents,
Did you hear? Last week Grammy Mac turned 90! What an amazing woman. She loves coming to school and spending time with your children every day. She had a fantastic day with lots of cards, hugs and wishes shared. She shared some memories of school when she was six/seven. The Free Press is coming soon to do a story about the RSVP program and wants to highlight her.
Last Friday we started Raz-Kids. It is an online, self-paced reading website. Wow did they do a lot of reading! Students can access this from home by going to raz-kids.com. The teacher username is "jocornell". Students know their passwords. Students first listen to a story, then read that story, then take a quiz. Each task they do earns them points. They are really excited about this and doing great! Parents have access to their child's reports.
That's it -- a short message this busy, busy week. Progress reports are underway and we will be meeting soon. Have a good week!
