Spiritual Life Newsletter
September 27 - October 3
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)
Bible study/SG are already in session! Both start 6-7pm. Mondays are led by Irein Thomas (iathomas@knox.edu), held in the CIL building (right next to Wiliston). Tuesdays are led by Maddie Schacht (mfschacht@knox.edu), held in Old Main Common Room (2nd floor). Small groups teach you how to dig deeper into Scripture and to personally apply it in your daily life, as well as connect with others about faith. We encourage you to come and learn more about Jesus together! Contact the leaders if you have questions.
Islamic Club
Pagan Club
Pagan Club meets on Tuesdays, 5:30pm, in the CIL building (next to Wiliston).
Look out for Pagan Club's table as we will participate in Fresh Check Day! (27th) and help with the booth on sexual assault awareness and prevention.
At the end of October there will be a trip to circle sanctuary, in celebration for Samhain. We encourage you to attend our meetings! Contact Meghan Gaynor, megaynor@knox.edu for more information.
Newman Club
There is Bible study every Sunday in the Gizmo at 1pm.
Rosary is every Thursday, 7:30pm, in Old Main 301. Any questions? Reach out to Joe Hilger (jehilger@knox.edu).
Spiritual Life
The Office of Spiritual Life seeks to nurture the ethics and identities of the Knox community by expanding our connection to our community and our world. As more people identify as spiritual or non-religious, the office strives to help students navigate and define their own experiences, whether those be religious, humanist, atheist, or something beyond or in between.
In addition, religious literacy remains valuable in a world where we must strive to respect and understand our increasingly diverse neighbors. The Office of Spiritual Life carries the tradition of the liberal arts by teaching students to communicate with people from all walks of life.
