Smuggling Hope
This is such a special time of year in middle school. As the weather starts to warm, there's an energy that embraces our school. Music competitions, Spring sports, and just this week, the drama production, and this coming week, the National Junior Honor Society Induction. These are events that remind us that the regular school day is only one place where our kids can thrive. It's a time of celebration and a time to look at what we've accomplished so far, and a time to set goals for the months (and year) to come.
I'd like to share three resources I came across this week. Each resonated with me because it got me thinking about the work we do as a middle school community, to serve our kids, in and out of the school day. It's more than school work; it's life work.
Take a look when you have a few minutes; I'd love to hear your thoughts.

If you read something that pertains to middle school, please let me know, because I always appreciate learning something new.
Thanks for all you do to promote a positive home-school and school-home partnership for our adolescents!
