Friday, 3/12, is a Remote Learning Day in Klein ISD. All students will be learning at home. If your child needs to be on campus, please RSVP here.

We are encouraging all Klein Online students to participate in On-Campus testing for the STAAR Simulations, however this is optional. The STAAR SIM is a simulation of the real STAAR test with protocols, testing environments, testing stamina, etc. to mirror STAAR.

Per Texas Education Agency, STAAR will not be allowed to be taken at home.

The following are dates for upcoming STAAR Sim/STAAR:

• Wednesday, March 24th (3rd Grade Math SIM)
• Wednesday, March 31st (3rd Grade Reading SIM)
• Thursday, April 8th (5th Grade Science SIM)
• Tuesday, April 13th (4th Grade Math SIM)
• Wednesday, April 14th (4th Grade Reading SIM)

STAAR Dates:

• Tuesday, April 6th (4th Grade Writing STAAR)
• Tuesday May 11th (4th and 5th Grade Math STAAR)
• Wednesday, May 12th (4th and 5th Grade Reading STAAR)
• Thursday, May 13th (5th Grade Science STAAR, 3rd Grade Math STAAR)
• Tuesday, May 18th (3rd Grade Reading STAAR)
