We hope that everyone enjoyed a much deserved week off for spring break and was able to rest and rejuvenate! In preparation for the final 9wks of the 2022-2023 school year, we want to take a moment to point out some important dates and times below:

1. We invite families with your students to our return to Westview MS Family Night on April 5, 2023, from 5:30 - 7:30pm. This day has not been able to occur due to COVID but we look forward to welcoming you and enjoying an evening of learning while having fun! Be on the lookout for more details as we get closer to the date!

2. Our first round of STAAR testing for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be the Reading test on April 19th & 20th.

3. 8th grade student ONLY will be taking STAAR Science on April 26 and STAAR Social Studies on April 27, 2023.

4. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be taking STAAR Math on May 10th & 11th.

5. 8th Grade graduation will be held on May 19.

6. Grade level field trips will be occurring on May 22, 23, & 24 with the last day of school on May 25, and it will be a 1/2 day EARLY RELEASE.

Parents, as you know, it is EXTREMELY important for students to come to school everyday to be a part of our final preparations to be successful on this year's STAAR test. In addition, please communicate with your child on the whereabouts of the district issued chrome book that they are working out of daily. If a charger is needed, it can be purchased in the front office for $10.00 replacement fee. All STAAR tests will be taken on their chrome book.
