Great Tiger Take-Down
For those of you that haven't heard, we have an amazing field trip planned for our 8th grade class. On May 30 - 31 our 8th graders have the opportunity to participate in the first annual GREAT TIGER TAKE-DOWN. The days will be filled with fun, wild, and messy activities! There will be friendly competitions planned with the winning team bringing back the Tiger Trophy to AGS. This year's 8th grade class has the opportunity to create a legacy at AGS as we are hoping to make this an annual tradition. The Great Tiger Take-Down will take place at Camp Michindoh in Hillsdale, MI. Check out the flyers below!

Positivity Project (P2)
Next Week's Theme: Social Intelligence
WHAT DOES SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE
MEAN?
You are aware of other people’s thoughts
and feelings. You understand why they do
things.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
People with social intelligence can “read”
other people and know what motivates
them. By understanding ourselves and
other people, we can find ways to
collaborate, form friendships, and build
relationships. Social intelligence increases
over time and as a person ages.
“I think we all have empathy. We may not have
enough courage to display it.”
– Maya Angelou
Summer EBT Information
To receive the Summer EBT benefit, every family must have an approved student eligibility benefit (free or reduced) through their school. Households may need to complete and submit the School Meals and Summer EBT Application. Families will need to turn in this form ahead of count day to receive benefits over the summer. Count day is February 14, 2024.
LINK to Form: https://fenton.familyportal.cloud/
Eligibility Overview
Summer EBT benefits are available for eligible households based on their student eligibility status (free or reduced). This can be from direct certification, categorical eligibility, or from the School Meals and Summer EBT Application.
What is Summer EBT?
As part of our collaborative efforts to enhance USDA's summer nutrition programs, the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program for Children (Summer EBT) will officially launch in summer 2024. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. More than 29 million children across America could benefit from Summer EBT.
Community Partners
AGS would like to thank following local businesses for their support of our staff and students. Carlson's Greenhouse and Gill-Roy's Hardware donated Holiday decorations to our school. Bill Carr Sign's recently installed 3M Safety Film and a customized perforation film on the front entrance of AGS. We appreciate all of our Community Partners.
Thank you DRIP Car Wash of Fenton

Mt Holly reopened this week, and Mrs. Loria will be out there Friday, 1/5/24 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM. As announced in the Remind message, there is no pre-sale this week. However Mrs. Loria will be in the ticket lobby 2:30-3:30pm and then at a table in the normal area: upstairs, past the ski shop- between fireplace and main cafeteria 3:35-8:00pm. Look for a Fenton sign! She will have forms and cards for new members to sign up as well at Mt. Holly. (Nothing at school 1/5).
Please remember that the prices went up to $30 this year. Please have exact change/check made out to Mt. Holly or Venmo.
