AMCMS Principal's Office
What is going on in the Principal's Office?
My Challenge to You
It is hard to believe... but the end of the Fall Semester is here. Where did it go?
As you prepare for your time away I want to encourage you to reflect upon the fall semester. What went well for you? What did not go so well?
Now think about this: Why did either of those occur? What did your plan look like? Did you have a plan? Or was it an unrealized good idea?
Think about this. "A goal without a plan is just a wish." -- I don't know who said it, but that person is correct. Things don't just happen. Even "luck" is the collision of preparation and hard work. You have to plan for success. You may not always achieve success, but one thing is for certain... if you do not have a plan to achieve your goals, you will be unsuccessful.
During the break, think about what you want to achieve this spring. Then, develop that plan to achieve your success. If I can help you in any way, let me know.
Have a wonderful holiday break. Enjoy your time with your family and friends.
Think. Achieve. Succeed.
Jeff

AMCMS SPED Tip of the Week
This last week of the semester is a good time to clean out and organize your sped paperwork!
For students that are no longer in your class, please shred any paperwork that you have printed and delete any IEP files you may have saved to your computer. If you do not have a shredder, feel free to send your paperwork to room 112 or 227.
For semester classes, your cloud files for Fall Semester Students will be deleted and replaced with your Spring Semester Students’ IEPs over the break, and you will receive new VOMs, which you will need to sign and return as soon as possible. Please shred all IEPs for Fall students (or send to 112 or 227 for shredding).
Note: The paperwork in the cloud will self-destruct at the end of the school year. (How convenient!)
Technology Tip of the Week
Have you heard about Breakout EDU?
Check out the video below to see Breakout EDU in action.
Breakout EDU is a team building game that can be adapted to a variety of content areas and is lots of fun.
Breakout EDU brings the 4 C's alive! All Breakout EDU games require critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication.
Ms. Westley wrote a grant to get the supplies for our campus and they are available in our library for checkout. She is also planning a tutorial to show how these kits are used, but she wants to know what day is best for you. If you would like to learn more please fill out the form below so she can have the tutorial on the day that the most people can attend.
