Why go to Bora Bora?

So many things are written and said about Bora Bora, but no words can describe the actual beauty. The island is three times smaller than the water its self which stretches for miles. The sand is a beautiful shade of white, the trees are emerald green, and the water is so clear you can see through the bottom.

James Cook saw Bora Bora in 1769 on his first trip to French Polynesia, and a London missionary Society base was established on the island in 1820. Bora Bora supported in his push for supreme power over Tahiti but resisted a French a state that is controlled and protected by another state. (established over Tahiti in 1842) until the island was added in 1888

Culture of Bora Bora

Bora Bora's culture has songs, dance, festivals and other private beliefs. Bora bora has its very unique ancient folklore influences the traditional song and dance of the island’s people and they love to share these celebrations with visitors.
