Yerevan

Yerevan is the capital of Armenia. 1,1 million people live in Yerevan and it is the largest city in Armenia. Yerevan is located from 900 to 1300 meters above the sea level. The climate is mild. Yerevan is a cultural, economical, political and scientific center of Armenia. There are many theatres, museums and monuments in Yerevan. If you wish to see the whole of Yerevan you have to go up to Victory park and the whole city will be seen spread at the foot of gorgeous Ararat.

Charles Aznavour

Shahnour Varinag Aznavourian better known by his stage name Charles Aznavour is a French and Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, public activist and diplomat. He has appeared in more than sixty movies, composed about a thousand songs ( including at least 150 in English, 100 in Italian, 70 in Spanish, and 50 in German), and sold well over 100 million records.


Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Armenian footballer who plays as a midifielder for the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the Armenian national football team. In 2012, Mkhitaryan was named in UEFA's Top 100 players by UEFA European Football Yearbook 2012-13.
