December 22nd-Pajama Day & Holidays around the World
All of the students had so much fun dressing up in their pajamas and traveling around the world while celebrating different holidays.
Students decorated cookies and gingerbread men in Germany. After that they made their way to Africa where they watched a video on the celebrations of Kwanzaa, following the short video they made mkeka, a woven mat. Next, students made dreidels out of marshmallows and pretzels and students painted the Star of David while “Latke the Lucky Dog was read. Lastly, we decorated Christmas trees and read “How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas?"
