Features of Earth and It's Moving Continents
Where is water on Earth?
Water on Earth is found in the hydrosphere. Water covers 75% of Earth's surface. About 97% of that water is salt. Most fresh water is locked up in glaciers.
How do we map Earth?
We can use latitude (horizontal lines that run parallel with the equator) and longitude (vertical lines that run parallel with the prime meridian) to help map the Earth. Also, a topographic map can show us elevation, the height above or below sea level.
