Field Trip Chaperones
The district has recently enacted new steps to ensure increased safety for our students. If you would like to sign up as an approved chaperone follow the link below:

* Read guidelines to ensure they can meet the responsibilities
* Submit background check form to KaShonda Hurst in HR. Volunteer will list on the form the teacher's name for KaShonda to notify once check is cleared.
* KaShonda will also email volunteer once check is clear and volunteer will then sign Chaperone Acknowledgment Form and return to teacher.
Tardy Bell Rings at 8:00 am. School is dismissed at 3:20.

Before school shopping is limited to students with parents.
Students with money can shop during their specials time on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Parents are welcome to shop with their students before school, during specials or any time on Tuesday.

YMCA After School Program
Groves YMCA after school program is registering for the 2018-19 school year! The Y makes the most of your child’s after school time by offering active learning opportunities designed
to engage and expand young minds. Housed in our cafeteria, YMCA After School Care gives children the opportunity to get to know their schoolmates better as they engage in active play and collaborate on fun projects. In the process, they'll continue to develop the physical, educational, emotional and social skills which are proven keys for success.
AGES: 5-12
DAYS/TIMES: Monday-Friday, School dismissal-6:30 pm
FEES: $35 registration fee/child. Facility Member $230/month. Program Member $285/month. Financial assistance is available through the YMCA and Workforce Solutions (NCI).
ADDED BENEFITS: Healthy snack, Care on In-service and Early Dismissal days, Homework assistance,
Activity centers, arts/crafts, games, physical fitness activities and more, all provided
by caring and well-trained staff who are CPR and First Aid certified.
