Attention Parents and Guardians
Recently, the Texas Education Agency implemented new guidance regarding accelerated instruction for students who did not pass STAAR grades 3-8 or EOC assessments during the 2020-2021 school year. Students will have a variety of ways to receive their accelerated instruction through selected courses, tutorials before or after school, advisory, Saturday camps, and/or specific online resources. Students who did not participate in state assessment during the 20-21 school year, will have an opportunity to participate in an assessment designed to show grade level proficiency on the TEKS. However, students may still participate in the accelerated instruction.
Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Jennifer Beck, our Student Support Assistant Principal, if you have specific questions regarding your student.
