The mission of Ed Clapp Elementary School
Student Item - Curbside Pick-Up
Hello Ed Clapp Families!
To say we “miss you so much” just is not enough! Teaching is not teaching without having our students with us every day. We know that this is a really hard time for our families and our whole nation.
The Fargo Public Schools is submitting today their plan to the state for distance learning in case school is canceled for a longer period of time.
To ensure that students have all their winter gear and school supplies they may need to complete at-home learning, all families will have the opportunity to do a curb-side pick-up of student items on Thursday and Friday of this week.
Schedule for Curbside Pickup of Student Items:
Thursday, March 26:
12:00 pm-2:30 pm: Last names A-D
2:30 pm-5:00 pm: Last names E-J
Friday, March 27:
8:00 am-10:00 am: Last names K-R
10:00 am-12:00 pm: Last names S-Z
Teachers are working throughout the week to gather students’ belongings and move them into a common area for the curbside pickup. When you arrive at the school, please remain in your car as we are unable to have any additional people in the building. We will have a team of about 8 people working to deliver the bags out to the curb by your car. From there, you will load the bags into your vehicle. We ask for your patience and understanding during this process while waiting in the traffic loop, as we can only have a small group of staff working at one time in order to maintain CDC social distancing guidelines. It is essential for you to pick up your child’s items during this time while staff are present to assist, so if you need to come during one of the other scheduled times, please do so.
We look forward to working with families to continue student learning as we find a “new normal” during this unprecedented time!
