Change in Walking Trail Date
Ridgeview's Volunteer Date is now October 4th at 10:30 a.m.
Updated Ridgeview Walking Trail Volunteer Day is Saturday, October 4th
Due to our soggy forecast, we are moving our Walking Trail Volunteer day to Saturday, October 4th at 10:30 a.m.
What: Ridgeview is building our long awaited walking trail on our playground field! Please volunteer to spend your morning with us building the trail. We will be raking the limestone into the pre-dug path. It will take a lot of synergizing to have this project completed in one morning so our students can enjoy their playground walking trail, but we know we can do it with helpers like you!
Who: Ridgeview Parents, Students and Community Volunteers
When: October 4th at 10:30 a.m. We hope to be done around 1:00 p.m.
Where: The Ridgeview Playground
What to Bring:
- A heavy duty metal garden rake to rake the limestone
- Metal shovels
- Working gloves to protect your hands
- A wheel barrow if you have one (not required)
- Students are encouraged to join us but need to be carefully supervised by parents
Rain Plan: If it rains on our volunteer day, I will send out a school wide phone call that morning letting families know. Our Rain Date is still set for October 11th.
RSVP: Please RSVP at the bottom of this flier to help us with our planning.
This walking trail will bring joy to so many Ridgeview students and community members! We hope you can be a part of creating it with us!
THANK YOU!!
