Our Mission

“Everton Elementary School, with the support of a community that values education, effectively utilizes all resources to insure a safe, harmonious atmosphere where all students learn essential skills, are challenged to reach their potential, and are motivated to become creative, lifelong learners and healthy, responsible citizens.”

Off to a Great Start!

The first three days have been absolutely wonderful! I have enjoyed hearing the sound of children back in the classrooms at Everton. If these three days are any indication, we are going to have a terrific school year! One of the greatest joys I have is walking into the classrooms and watching students learning. I love seeing that sparkle in their eyes when they "get it"! There is so much that goes into educating children. The task does not fall on the teacher alone, it takes all of us working together. I encourage parents to maintain open communication with their child's teacher. We all have the same goal. We want children to be successful.
Big picture

Making Our School Sparkle

Mr. Peters and Mr. Browning worked hard taking care of our building during the summer. They have worked to make our school a safe, clean learning environment. Along with summer cleaning, our gym has been painted. New cabinetry has been installed in each classroom. The cafeteria received new flooring, and the playground area received new mulch. We appreciate everything that was done to make our school sparkle!
