James I
James I of England aka James VI of Scotland born ,on June 19, 1566, into the position of king. He had a set of advisers to help him rule. After the death of Queen Elizabeth, James VI of Scotland took control of England becoming James the I of England. James I was a good king who wanted to unify Scotland and England to create religious harmony in Europe. He loved learning and had an education that equaled Queen Elizabeth's.

The Jacobean Court was King James I's rule. They no longer referred to England as Elizabethan England, the era become the Jacobean era. He was very generous and affectionate, giving courtiers money and gifts. Mainly trying to preserve peace. Due to the fact that he enjoyed gifting money to everyone, he went into a major debt.
