Franklin Sabers Junior Cheer program Black and Gold Teams competed at their first competition of the season at the Menomonee Falls Phoenix Invite and the Gold Team won second place! Congratulations to our girls!
MASK REMINDERS
As we continue to require masks for students, please remember the following:
It’s a good idea to wash your child’s mask frequently, ideally daily if possible.
Please ensure that your child has a few masks to rotate throughout the average school week
Please send an extra mask in your child’s backpack in the event they need another mask
When choosing masks for your child, please look for masks that have 2 or more layers of breathable fabric, cover their nose and mouth, fit snugly across the sides of their face, and don’t have gaps.
If you need help with getting additional masks, please contact the school’s main office.
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Hoping this letter finds you well rested after a long break with your family!
This week at school marks the end of the first trimester of school for our students! This is a perfect time to talk with your child about what they find the most interesting during their day. What is it that they get the most excited about? Celebrate this! Also, ask what feels challenging? And celebrate this as well because things should be a bit challenging. Challenge is when our brains grow and we learn the most! At school as we mark the end of the trimester, teachers begin to enter final grades, attendance and comments into your child’s report card. These will be emailed to you on Friday, December 10th. Read these carefully and take time to celebrate your child’s progress!
We appreciate the efforts being made on behalf of our student's safety. First, please continue to send your child to school with a mask on and an extra mask in their backpack. Second, thank you for keeping your child safe by following the morning drop off procedures!
Have a good week!
Sincerely,
Mary Shannon
Ben Franklin Principal
