March 2019 Recap

WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE LIBRARY?

Big picture

Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!

Students at NWC were able to touch actual moon rocks and samples of meteorites during a space presentation in the library. Pictured is Mrs. Cedio using a globe to explain to students where meteorites are likely to fall if they do not completely burn up as they enter the Earth's atmosphere.

Lessons in the Library

This month, students participated in a variety of activities. These included story time, learning about Caldecott-winning books, Dictionary skills, Science Investigation Stations, and Escape Room Activities over Nonfiction Text Features.
