Words to know before we begin:
Mutton Chops
A large cut of meat from an adult sheep.
Ordinary
An old English term for an inn.
Ledger
A book in which to record information as part of a continuing count.
Frumenty
Frumenty is an old-fashioned dish of hulled wheat boiled in milk and mixed with cinnamon and sugar.
Conscription
Conscription is required enrollment in military service. It is also called the Draft.
