Career Awareness & Exploration Student Showcase March 30th & 31st

Please join us in celebrating your student exploring, picking, and researching their dream career! School counselors will facilitate a career lesson throughout the month of March that allows students to explore, pick, and research their dream career. On the day of your student's showcase, students will dress as the career they chose and present their findings through the form of an “Interview” that parents/guardians/volunteers will help to facilitate. Teachers will provide a certificate congratulating each student on successfully applying, interviewing, and getting their dream job! Please plan on joining us on March 30th or March 31st.

Current Renovation Project: Starting in March the district will begin a roof renovation at WHES. This work will be scheduled with student learning in mind, however most work will be completed throughout the school day. If your child, mentions some work happening at school - this will be the project they are referencing.

Positivity Project at WHES

What is P2 for Families?

P2 for Families is an easy and effective way for families to discuss the importance of character strengths and positive relationships. It is differentiated for grades Pre-K – 2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Each character strength follows a 1-1-3 model: 1 quote, 1 video, and 3 questions to drive conversations around character at home.
