Earth Day Assembly

April 22nd is Earth Day! We hope that you will take some time to reflect on the importance of this day with your child at home. Earth Day will be the theme of our April assembly, and we are asking for students’ help! We will be sharing ideas about how we can reuse materials at home to make something new in order to reduce waste. Please encourage your child to participate in this project and record a video of how they reused materials to make something new. See the flyer below.

Ramadan Mubarak to all of our families who celebrate. If your family is observing Ramadan and your child is fasting, please contact the school nurse at 908-284-7624 or e-mail Mrs. Cunniff at Thank you!

Service Corp

New committees have been assigned and meetings will be held at 3:00 via Zoom. Assignments are posted in the Service Corp Google Classroom, and Mrs. Fontanez will be sending reminders on Monday.

Class lists for 2021-2022

Creation of class lists is an important responsibility that teachers, school counselors, and administrators take very seriously. A great deal of time and effort goes into creating classes which are well balanced academically and socially. Many factors are considered in making placement decisions. Because it is not as simple as placing a student with a teacher without considering all of the dynamics of each class and the individual and collective needs of the students, the Flemington Raritan School District does not honor parental requests for specific teachers. Parents may write a letter stating specific needs that their child has which may be considered when placing the student. The letter should state facts to consider and not request a teacher. Please submit your letters to Mrs. Glaab or Mrs. Braynor by April 30th.
