Principal's Message
Good evening,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. As you know, we will be immersed in Remote Learning until April 30th with a tentative return date of May 1st. The district office and every school has been working extremely hard to prepare for Remote Learning. This is a difficult time for everyone, in so many ways. Our biggest focus to make sure all of you are healthy and getting the support that you need. We will be flexible, we will be understanding, and we will be supportive. We ask that in return as well. THANK YOU for your continued support as we work through this difficult time together.
Remember, please check the district website daily for updated information regarding COVID-19. Lunches are available for ANY 308 student. They can be picked up or delivered. Here is the link to the SD308 Remote Learning Page to help answer questions and assist you with Remote Learning.
Stay healthy! We miss you!

McDonald's Happy Meals!
The time for our traditional Fundraiser Nights will return, but for now, I wanted to let you know how Kory McDonald's is still here to support you! Please visit our Facebook page. We are currently offering a $2 Happy Meal through April 30 in our drive-thrus and for pick up in the lobby and of course on McDelivery.
COVID-19
As you know, the prevalence of Coronavirus COVID-19 is on the rise. At this time, the recommendations from IDPH include directing students and school personnel to protect themselves and others by taking every day common sense actions which include correctly washing hands, staying home when sick, and properly covering a cough. Please take a look at the links provided on the district webpage for COVID-19, as they are the official sources of information from the CDC, IDPH, ISBE, and the Kendall County Health Department.

PTO
The Murphy PTO does not do any fundraising as a PTO. Instead we ask families to make an annual donation to the PTO. These donations help us to provide classroom grants, student events, staff appreciation, community awareness and much more. Please consider making a donation. In addition, any family who donates $25 or more will receive one free ticket to the Murphy Monster Mash!
The PTO can accept credit card payments for annual donations. You can also make your family’s annual donation via SignUp Genius by clicking on this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0445aaaa22ab9-20192020 UPDATED LINK. If you prefer to send your donation in with your student, please print out the form below and send it to school with your student.
For more information on the Murphy PTO, upcoming PTO events or volunteer opportunities, please contact PTO President Missy Dziewiatkowski at missyd71@gmail.com or 630-999-3927. Please also follow us on Facebook for PTO events and updates (Murphy PTO-Home of the Mavericks).

Student Absences
If your student is absent, please feel free to email teachers directly for missed homework. To find contact information for your child’s teachers, please use the staff list here: Teacher Directory. You can also check teacher websites and/or Google Classroom for homework.
