Our Learning Lab Journey
Studio Bee Art Enrichment-We had our second art enrichment workshop with Studio Bee Art! We designed our Self Portrait People using markers, fabric, and embroidery string. We are so proud of the creativity that we showed on these projects! Thank you Miss Guiliana for a great project and thanks again to Fallon (Logan's mommy) for sewing the people dolls for us!
Gardening Harvest-Amazing! Our garden may be the best in the county and we are convinced it is from the love and kindness that our students put into our garden. The watermelon radish crop was beyond our expectations and tasted simply wonderful. Our tomato plants are growing like weeds however we are still awaiting the ripening. We sent the tomatoes home this week to ripen so that animals would not feast on them during Winter Break. The basil and dill were just as diving and we have new Romain sprouting up as well! We are what we eat!
Little Yogis-We are eager to bring our mindfulness journey into the new year! As we wrapped up our December yoga journey we were reminded of the importance of getting into and out of a pose safely and with control. Motor planning is a key part of yoga which we will continue to work on developing in the new year.
Yoga Day-Although we recognize yoga weekly yoga day was a great way to create a yoga obstacle course! Students practiced challenging poses as they made their way through the course!

We are so excited. January brings our second trip as a group to Van Wezel! We are eager to share this experience with our students! We received a set of directions and rules last show from the theater which we are required to share with you to ensure the safety of students, respect for actors and others in attendance and respect for the theater. Please be sure to read and abide by what they are asking of us. We want to be able to go back again and show them that our school is kind and respectful. The performances usually last about 55-60 minutes. We all must arrive on time. We will enter as a group promptly at 9:30 as requested by the theater and once we are in you will not have a ticket to enter separately. We will be assigned a section to sit in as a group. FOUNDER will submit the “TICKET” to the usher before entering the building.

Enrollment for 2019-2020 School Year
Enrollment for 2019-2020 School Year
Based on many inquiries to the school about new enrollment and new families already securing their space in the program for 2019-2020 school year we will be sending out re-enrollment for our existing students and siblings early in February. Typically we do this in March but because of the volume of interest for next year, we will need to evaluate space in the program for new incoming students. Be on the watch for information coming out to all families in February 2019. This will include our Kindergarten and First Grade program.
Re-enrollment forms and Registration Fee submitted by the deadline will guarantee the student's space for the upcoming school year. If forms and registration fee is not submitted by the deadline we will assume you are forfeiting your space.

Volunteers and Donations:
There are some open volunteer opportunities available as we enter the second semester! We are in need of the following helpers:
Ooey Gooey Volunteer Slime and Sensory Materials (Jan.-June)
Culinary Arts Volunteer (Jan.-June)
2 Art Supply Volunteer (January only). See Volunteer Book for supplies needed
Please be sure to check the book to see what you signed up for this semester!!
We are also in need of refilling our sand boat with some fresh sand. If you would like to volunteer to purchase and have sand delivered to the school please reach out and let us know. Once sand is delivered we will also need a volunteer to help spread throughout the sand boat!
Our adorable garden houses are in need of some repair. We would like to replace some parts with more sustainable materials. When designed and built by the company it seems that the wood was not sustainable enough for Florida weather especially the moisture. If you could help us with the repairs we are need of assistance as soon as possible. Also if you have ideas of what materials would be cost effective and also will hold up please reach out. The porch areas and the molding are the areas that need repair first. See photo below.
See photos of fun take-home projects that we would love to add to our environment!
