Drama Club

Students will rehearse and perform a scripted play. We play drama games, do dramatic scenes and perform in various events throughtout the school year. Participants will be offered the chance to experience the excitement of imaginative play while developing poise, social skills, confidence and the ability to work with others.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Honors Orchestra

Intellectual Ladies

An elite empowerment and leadership group for young ladies. The program is developed to maximize self-development through community service, leadership and social empowerment. There will be activities and workshops focused on social enrichment, service, relationship building, academic success and improvement, leadership, peer helping, and mentoring.

Junior Beta

The goal is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership. This honor society and service organization is open to 7th and 8th grade students by invitation only. Students must have a 90% overall average and all E's and S's.

Junior HOSA

Junior HOSA will provide an opportunity for leadership development, motivation, and recognition for those students interested in pursuing careers in health care. Our mission is to enhance the delivery of compassionte, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of health science education students. Students should have a genuine interest in pursuing careers in health professions.

National History Day Club

National History Day is more than just a day. It's an experience. This club will promote the study and appreciation of history among students. National History Day has an annual project-based contest for students. Students will have the opportunity to build and create their own projects based on this year's topic: Breaking Barriers in History.

OWL Society Book Club

Shiloh Ambassadors

Peer Leaders and positive role models that help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment. Shiloh Ambassador responsibilities include: meet and greets to help new students, promoting messages of respect and reinforcing school expectations, and peer mediation. Members must apply during the Spring semester for the following year. Members have already been selected for the 2019-2020 school year.

Technology Student Association (TSA)

TSA enhances personal development, leadership, and career opporutnities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Members will integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions and related programs.

The FunRaising Club

The FunRaising Club involves students in raising awareness and money for various organizations and community projects with a specific focus on Relay for Life and United Way of Gwinnett. This club will work in conjunction with the faculty captions of Relay and United Way to involve the student body in these important community activities.

Track and Field Club

Our athletes experience the world of track and field. This includes six field events, hurdles, sprints, middle distance and distance. SMS the only middle school in GCPS with a track team, so we travel outside of the county to compete as well as organize home track meets. We emphasize track movements, good sportsmanship, goal setting, team work, and a hard work ethic.

Video Broadcast Journalism Club (News Crew)

In the Video Broadcast Journalism Club (VBJ), students will create the announcements for our school. Students must submit an application. VBJ is for students with advanced technology and writing skills.
