West Point El. Parent Update
Week of November 6, 2023
Dear West Point Families,
We hope you had a fun week with your families. Even with the cold weather, our students had a great time participating in the Halloween Parade. We appreciate all who came to cheer for our students! Thank you for helping our students follow the costume guidelines. We love being able to enjoy this fun tradition with our students and families. We would also like to thank the many parents who volunteered to help with class parties. Our students had a great day!
We still have spots available for our on-site mobile fingerprinting on Thursday, November 16. Use the following link to schedule a time if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity. Please let the office know if you need assistance paying the fee, which is currently $34. Mobile Fingerprinting
Here are three important things to know for the coming week:
- We have had several requests from parents and staff to purchase WPE spirit shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies in both adult and student sizes. We now have a Wildcat Spirit Gear site! You will be able to order spirit gear from this site through November 19. Please see additional information below.
- Yearbooks can now be purchased on myDSD. The cost is $15 through the end of December. The price will go up to $18 starting in January.
- With the change in weather, please make sure students come to school prepared for the cold weather with coats, etc. that are labeled with their names. Let the office know if you need assistance in getting a coat or other winter clothing for your student.
We hope you have a great week!
Sincerely,
Marjorie Conrad and Michelle Yoho
Principal and Assistant Principal, West Point Elementary
