Please consider joining us for a Q & A session either Saturday 8/1 at 1:00 or Monday 8/3 at 1:00.
Honored to Serve Our Community,

Mountain View Middle School Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) and Beaverton School District FLEX Online School: How are we the same and how are we different?
Similarities
- Students begin learning on September 14th
- Students earn grades
- Attendance is required
- All online/distance learning
- Teachers offer time to help students when they need it
- Students have some flexibility in their schedules
Differences
- MVMS will continue with the same rigorous curriculum all students use on our campus, FLEX curriculum will not be aligned with comprehensive middle schools
- MVMS CDL will be taught by our community of teachers and include our student community
- MVMS CDL will have a clear schedule that will translate through CDL, Hybrid Learning, and full on site learning (when we are able to return to it)
- MVMS CDL will continue to have teams (students on a team have the same Humanities, Math, and Science teachers)
- MVMS CDL will continue to have Advisory classes to support and connect students
- Transfers to and from FLEX will only be available at the semester breaks
- FLEX online school will not offer the same selection of electives that comprehensive middle schools have
