Great Moments in Hot Bev History
Wow. Have we got a doozy for you folks today. Did you know during the 18th century, there was surefire way to determine what hot bev someone was drinking, just by looking at the cup?
In those days, chocolate cups had two handles (the one to the right was owned by George and Martha Washington!), while tea cups had NONE.* No handles?! That's insane. They didn't even have those little cardboard things to buffer the heat. They must have had such hot hands.
In our office, we use mugs with one handle almost exclusively. We like the mystery! ANYTHING could be in there. Join us for a free hot bev tomorrow starting at 9 AM. Bring your own mug (whatever handles it might have) to help save the Earth!
