Learn 'n Grow Early Childhood Education Center Construction Update
Construction is underway, the foundation is in and plumbing and other installations are taking place within the footings. The walls are being constructed off site and will be brought in at the beginning of February. The concrete floor will be poured next, possibly this week. With the nice weather we had, we are one month ahead of schedule. Of course, we have a lot of winter left!
Please spread the word that enrollment is underway! They can find more information at lng.otsegops.org.

Mikala Brinkert, MS/HS Special Education Teacher
- I lived in Australia for 3 months as an exchange student. During this time I lived in a small town called Colleambally on a sheep farm half the time, then I lived in the city of Adelaide for the other half of my time. Both places were extremely different, but so interesting.
- One of my favorite things to do in my free time is run. In high school I ran both track and cross-country. I would love to complete a marathon someday.
- I also enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance. My most recent trip was to Barbados for my honeymoon. While there I got to see the house that Rihanna grew up in before she became a star here in the US.
Rachell Juriga, Behavioral Specialist, Alamo & HS
- I absolutely love to travel! My goal is to "stay and play" in every state. I have 23 more states to go.
- I've been on 5 mission trips with various groups when I was in my 20's and 30's (which was just like two years ago). The longest trip I went on was helping the American Red Cross with disaster relief after Hurricane Katrina for one month. They all were life changing!
- I am an outdoor girl. I love to play golf, tennis, volleyball, kayak, ride my bike, hike and drive my boat as fast as possible.
Brianne Crandall, HS Math/Health Teacher, Swim Club Coach
I did my first year of teaching in Greenville, South Carolina, GO CLEMSON!
I swam at Western for 3 years and held the record for the 1000 freestyle for 4 years before it was broken in 2018.
I first became a Bulldog in college when I started coaching the Otsego Swim Club.
Have a story for me?
