Parent Awareness and Information Series
Last Reminder...
We invite you to attend any or all of the Stoller Parent Awareness and Information Series to be held in our cafeteria. This series includes:
-
Teen Substances Use - Tuesday, February 12th from 6-7pm
-
Social Media Safety - Tuesday, March 12th from 6-7pm
-
Stress and Emotional Regulation - Tuesday, April 9th from 6-7pm
Many of you are now aware of the public health concerns regarding young people vaping, which have led the FDA to call the use of e-cigarettes among teens an “epidemic.” Tuesday's time together will be an educational forum to build awareness and helpful tips for parents regarding substance use. The goal of this evening is to support your children in making healthy choices.
Box Tops for Education Contest
Parents and Students of Stoller Middle School,
Our contest is coming to an end. The deadline for the contest is Tuesday, February 26th. There is just about one month left to submit your Box Tops so they can count towards winning the following prize.
- A free game of Laser Tag at Super Play
Collection is open and ongoing. Just send in your box tops in a plastic baggie or envelope with your Core 1 teacher’s name on it. Look for labels when you purchase. Ask grandparents for theirs as well. Look for your class rank on the poster in the main hallway across from the library. Winners will be announced on Friday, March 1st 2019. Good luck!
