What's Ahead - Week of September 14-18, 2020
As we are kicking off the school year, it is important that we are mastering our addition and subtraction skills. We will blink our eyes and we will have 1st graders on our hands! Parents, it is very important that you are completing the nightly homework sent home with your child. This is helping them build a math skill set they will use for the rest of their academic career. We have exciting few week ahead, keep up the hard work!

Graphing with Goldfish
After reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish students filled in their graph with goldfish according to the color.
100 Day Dots
Students put 10 dots of each color in 10 boxes to represent 100 days of school.
100 Day Snack
Students put 100 fruit loops in 10 different boxes to represent 100 days of school.

Field Trip September 30, 2020
Parents, we will be going on a field trip to the Birmingham Zoo on September 30, 2020. Please make sure to get all field trip paper work turned in by September 21, 2020. If you would like, students can purchase a field trip shirt from the PTA for $10.
