This is our monthly newsletter posted on the 1st of each month during the regular school year. You will find upcoming dates, events or information in regards to school-wide activities or polices/procedures. The newsletter is linked on our website, Instagram, Facebook & sent via Remind. We do our best to put all school information in the newsletter!

• December 9th - Math Curriculum Review - Come join us!
• December 12th - 3rd, 4th & 5th grade Christmas Program - 6:00 p.m. at Minico High School
• December 14th - Trendsetters at 2:00 p.m.
• December 15th - 1:300 p.m. Christmas Parties
• December 16th - End of 1st Semester - Teacher Work Day
• December 19th - January 2nd Winter Break - No School
• January 3rd - School Resumes & Report Card goes home

• *Thursday each week is HAT DAY! Pay $1 to wear your hat.
  

We will work as a school to meet our monthly goal of 80,000 minutes read! If during the month we make our goal, we will celebrate with a pajama day in January along with an additional 30 minutes of read what you want! We will meet our goal if every student reads 20 minutes a day during the month of December.

We extend an invite for you to come and join us! We need parents to help be on our committee. If you are interested, please let me know!

We are so excited to be back to in-person performances. Please note that only 3rd, 4th & 5th graders will be performing at the Christmas Concert. This decision was made so that the Minico Auditorium can comfortably seat all that wish to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!

The teachers at our school are extraordinary. We see them go above and beyond, day in and day out. Did you know that a Department of Education study found that 94% of teachers use their own money to purchase supplies for their classrooms?

This holiday season, we as a parent organization are asking for your help to give back to our amazing teachers. If you are able, please consider picking an item or two off of our teacher's virtual wish list and then return the unwrapped item to Mrs. Kontos in the office. Once the item is brought to school, your student will be able to write his/her name on an ornament and place it on the Christmas tree in the foyer. Gifts will then be wrapped and delivered anonymously to the teachers before the Christmas break.

We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday season with your loved ones.

First order of t-shirts/hoodies will be here soon!

We will be taking orders for the third group of shirts/sweatshirts until Dec. 16th.

4th group Nov 14th- Dec 16th

We try our very best to communicate with you through all different formats in hopes one works for you! If you aren't following along- please do! We can't wait to show you everything that goes on behind the school doors.

We post lots of pictures throughout the month to show you what is going on at school. If you would not like to have your child in a picture/video that could potentially be posted to our social media websites - please let the office know. If we don't hear from you, we will assume you agree.
