Graduation is on Friday, May 22, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. If your senior has not ordered their cap, gown and graduation announcements, please contact Herff Jones at 281-367-4723 use the link provided below to order a Graduation package or shop for products individually, including their cap and gown.

Congratulations Oak Ridge Cheerleaders!

They competed in the Game Day Super Large Varsity Division at the National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida. Not only did they advance to the Semifinals round, they soared into the Finals round. With 32 representing states and hundreds of schools competing, the Oak Ridge Cheerleaders took home 11th place in the Nation!

Texas High School Coaches Association Nomination

Caroline Alonzo has been named to the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Academic All-State First Team. Not only is this a huge honor for Caroline, but of special note she was the ONLY swim/dive team member to be named to the Academic All State Teams in Conroe ISD.

Class Fees Due

Make sure to pay your class fees. Seniors who owe fees will not be able to participate in prom or graduation. Check your account at

Spring Break

Spring Break is quickly approaching. It is scheduled for the week of March 8 - 14. Friday, March 6th is a scheduled Early Release day. The half day schedule for March 6th will include all 4 periods with 45 minute class times. It is important that students be in attendance.

Physics C/CTE students presented their supply pod design to NASA engineers this week.


  • Softball season has begun and our ORHS team had their first district win over TWHS.
  • There are 4 ORHS wrestlers competing at state this year.
  • The girls basketball team have won districts for the 4th consecutive year and are now in tournament play.
  • The Swim and Dive Team sent 6 athletes to districts last week. Samantha Vear placed 3rd and Ayden Scheck placed 14th in diving.

Senior Sunset

The Senior Sunset event is scheduled for Thursday, March 5th at 6 pm. It will take place on the practice field of the Freshman campus and will be followed by the Annual Mr. Oak Ridge Competition in the Auditorium.
