Kicking off the Holiday Season!
Hello St. Mark's Families-
We are excited to offer families the option of contributing to the Holiday Fund as a way to recognize your children's teachers and staff at St. Mark's. The idea behind this is to enable families to remember all of the St. Mark's community during the Holiday Season- even those people who may not be first in mind. This is the third year the Parent Guild has facilitated this effort, and the recipients are always overjoyed with their gifts!
For your convenience, there are two ways to participate in the Holiday Fund. A donation box is present in Ms. Reid's office, or you can click here to participate online. The deadline for receiving these gifts is December 18. At that time, contributions will be tallied and distributed equally to all the teachers and staff as a holiday gift from our families. From my perspective, this is a wonderful way to remember my children's teachers at the holidays. I usually send a card telling them we appreciate them and have donated to the fund in their honor.
Wishing your family a blessed Christmas season,
Carla Singer, Parent Guild President
Breakfast with Santa
By now you have received your invitation for the 19th annual Breakfast with Santa. The team of volunteers led by Elizabeth Trammell and Debbie Chenevert are hard at work planning a morning in Santa's Workshop for our families on December 1. This fun morning includes arts and crafts, breakfast, and pictures with Santa.
This is an incredibly popular event for our community, so be sure and turn in your RSVP form by tomorrow, November 16.
It's not too late to deck the halls with Poinsettias, while supporting the Parent Guild!
Orders are due November 16, and Poinsettias will be delivered on December 4.
